For the signing at Tuesday books in Williamston, I made cookies in the shape of little red boots. I also bought a car magnet. You can see from the far right photo the huge bank of snow that still was in mid Michigan in late March. It was a rough winter.
We just submitted our third manuscript called, Three Dog Day, to Camel Press. This book continues the lives of the characters you already know, Mae, Ben, Wayne, Tammy, and this time we feature one of our favorites, Dory Clarkson.
Dory is B..O..R..E..D with being the Sheriff's Office Manager and wants to become a deputy. I won't tell you what happens, but the outcome is unexpected.
Tammy also gets an unexpected outcome and Mae figures it out before Tammy does. You will have to wait until December to find out what it is.
We continue the dark unraveling of Wayne's life story. He's atoning for his past decisions...and crimes....
Mae has an accident which prevents her from being as involved in this case as she would like to be, but she comes through in spades at the end.
