Check Goodreads giveaway for a chance to win "Three Dog Day." These will be Autographed, Pre-release date copies.
Hello: I have been looking at the sign-ups for Goodreads giveaways. Right now there are 367 people entered to win a copy of Three Dog Day. The current end date is November 1. We have decided to extend the deadline to Nov 15. The book does not come out until December 1, so if you win, you will still get a pre-release copy. Good Luck!
The third book in the Mae December series, "Three Dog Day" will be released December 1. If you wish to pre-order the book, you can do so on Amazon now at this address.
The title comes from an old Anasazi saying that some nights are three dog nights, meaning you have to sleep with three dogs to make it through the night. We did an adaptation of the saying, "Three Dog Day" for our title. This one is about busting a puppy mill, and a John Doe victim. Mae finds the body in the Little Harpeth River, but solving the case first requires making an ID on the victim. There is also a teen-age whistle blower who informs the Sheriff's Office in Rose County that there is a puppy mill operating near where the body was found. This one looks like a slam dunk, but there are plenty of surprising turns and twists.
