THREE Dog Day

Mae December was out running with a Louisiana Leopard Hound named Lulu. The big dog pulled on the leash, heading down toward the Little Harpeth River. Mae is no match for the strength and determination of the eighty pound dog. She shouted, "Lulu, no." The leash slipped from her grasp and Lulu jumped down onto a rocky ledge, sniffing at something very near the water. The hound threw her head back and howled. Mae got a clear view of what Lulu had been sniffing, let out a scream and jumped down to grab Lulu's leach. A man lay face down, one arm trailing in the
